Panel on ‘Private Property Rights and Political Power: In search for a Lost Legitimacy?’ – at the Society for Applied Philosophy Annual Conference 2018

The members of the research project Private Property and Political Power will be organizing one of the panels of the Society for Applied Philosophy Annual Conference 2018 – that will take place at Utrecht. In the panel, on Private Property Rights and Political Power, Rutger Claasen will be presenting the paper ‘Corporations, Property and Public Power’, Silvain Lajoie will present his piece ‘From Individual Wealth Inequalities to Political Illegitimacy: A Case for the Reconceptualisation of Property’, and finally Yara Al Salman will present her paper ‘Democratic Legitimacy and the New Common.’
